GOSPEL ARTIST TEVIS HARRIS AND FAVOR RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO “FIGHT” AHEAD OF FORTHCOMING DEBUT GOSPEL ALBUM

Gospel musician, independent recording artist, and school administrator Tevis Harris along with his recording group faVor, a singing group that consists of several of his friends and relatives, released their debut digital single “Fight” featuring James L. Knight, Jr., which is available now on all digital platforms.

Written by Harris and co-produced along with Mark Green, “Fight” is the lead single on Harris and faVor’s forthcoming album due out later this year. The project will feature a compilation of praise and worship and traditional gospel musical selections. Additionally, the music video for “Fight” was filmed in downtown Rocky Mount, North Carolina and premiered via YouTube. Watch the music video for “Fight” here.

Harris describes “Fight” as “a lyrical reminder that although challenges might arise in life, we all must continue to pursue our goals, vision, and blessings.”

Tevis Harris started singing at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Rocky Mount as a young boy and went on to sing in various children’s, youth and school choruses. He has worked as a fifth-grade science teacher, a National Board-certified teacher, an assistant principal, stints as an adjunct instructor at Nash Community College and N.C. Wesleyan College. and currently an elementary grades principal at Rocky Mount Preparatory School.

Harris also currently serves as director of worship and choirs at Word Tabernacle Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He is married to Janeé Avent Harris and they have one daughter, Carsen Olivia.
