The holidays are a time of giving but also a time of gratitude.  In celebration of these holidays, singer/songwriter John Torres has released the video for “This Season (In This World Together,)” an inspirational and timely song that was co-written by Torres and songwriter Chip Rosenbloom. The video was released on December 15^th and has already garnered 41,726 YouTube views within five days. The song has received 102,904 streams on Spotify.

Speaking about “This Season (In This World Together,)” Torres and Rosenbloom shared their thoughts: “We are at a time in our country and even abroad, where there seems to so much division.  It feels like a pressure cooker that is about to explode. More than ever, we need to find and hold onto all of the things in life that we share in common.  Specifically, our humanity and the fact that no one is facing this life alone.  We all share in this crazy human condition, and we need each other more than we know.”

John Torres is an American songwriter, who has released four studio albums as well as numerous singles and music videos.  His music draws influence from a wide variety of different genres including Folk, Pop, and even Opera and has been featured in MTV’s “The Real World,” “From D.C., with Love,” “Alias,” “Felicity” and many other popular television shows and movies.  Torres has shared the stage with Shawn Colvin and Sara Bareilles and has received numerous honors including a John Lennon Songwriting Award, an American Independent Music Award nomination and a short listing for Best Original Song by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

As an actor, Torres originated the original lead role of Drew in the first ever production of the now Broadway hit musical and film “Rock of Ages.” He also co-starred as Peter in the first major production of the musical “Bare: A Pop Opera” (Nominated for 18 Ovation Awards).
