The American band, Third Day, has a new song from his album, “Lead Us Back,” his recent foray into the music of praise. “He Is Alive” is a song of worship with great energy, with powerful vocal performance of Mac Powell and resounding verses that proclaim the resurrection of Jesus Christ, with the consequent defeat of death and sin.

“He Is Alive” ( “He is alive”) takes on a special meaning for others for the band whose name means “third day”. “Referring the name of the band to the resurrection, always felt attached to that story and obviously what Jesus did on the cross and what that means for us as individuals,” said Mark Lee, guitarist and founder of the group together with Powell. “We believe it is one of the most important decisions anyone can make.”
While the band has in his discography songs that somehow make a reference to the resurrection – “Thief” from his first album, and “Carry My Cross”, launched in 2005 its production, Third Day always wanted to have a subject to speak specifically of the event that marked the destiny of mankind and the final victory of Jesus over death. “This is the first song that spoke directly the crucifixion, the resurrection, what Jesus did for us on the cross,” adds Lee. “It is very special for us, probably my favorite on” Lead Us Back “… we feel it is an eternal message … the central message of Third Day and being a Christian,” he concludes.
Third Day’s music can be heard in the recent film “Miracles From Heaven” (Miracles of Heaven), starring Jennifer Garner and which also involved the Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez. The band appears playing the theme “Soul On Fire” and sounds “Your Words”, both also promotional album cuts “Lead Us Back”.
